School-Wide Positive Behavior Support
Our school is in full swing with implementing the School Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPBS) program.
Our school rules have been established and taught to all of our children.
The rules are: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.
The students are working hard at receiving positive compliments from the faculty and staff. With each compliment, they receive a link to add to their classroom's good behavior chain. When the chain touches the floor then the class wins a special treat such as a party, dress up day, extra recess, etc.
Dyllis Dollars are awarded to individual students who are recognized for following the rules and setting a good example for others. At the end of the month their Dyllis Dollars are placed in a box and 10 are drawn for prizes. In addition to this, the students with the most Dyllis Dollars from each home room are invited to a “Party with the Principal” where they get to enjoy treats and play games.
Positive behavior is in the air at Dyllis Elementary.
