PTO
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a self-governing organization. It is organized and operated by specific rules and regulations contained in a set of bylaws adopted by its elected officers. The PTO consists of elected parent officers, as well as the principal and faculty of Dyllis Elementary. Through regularly scheduled meetings, school needs are discussed and ideas are implemented in order to meet those needs.
There are several purposes for the PTO. These include:
~Create close cooperative relationships between home, school, and community through a variety of gatherings and community celebrations.
~Build a strong sense of community that fosters high academic success for all students.
~Help sponsor school events and fundraisers to ensure that students' and teachers' needs are met.
All family and community members are encouraged to attend meetings, events, and participate in fundraisers in order to support the goals of the PTO. For more information or to get involved in the PTO please contact any of the elected officers below.

The PTO is currently looking for a new PTO President. Due to this, election of officers has been delayed for now.
A meeting was held on Thursday, October 8th for the purpose of electing a new president and filling several other vacancies.
The results of the election are as follows:

Please mark your calendars for our annual Fall Festival which will be held on Thursday, October 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Plans are being made for fun, games, food, and more. Watch for more information and opportunities to help following Fall Break.
